55-Year-Old Man Charged With Raping 8-Year-Old Girl

 Benjamin Sudler Authorities charged a 55-year-old Delaware man Sunday, saying he's been raping an 8-year-old girl regularly since last November. Police took Benjamin Sudler into custody at his North Market Street home in Wilmington on Sunday afternoon. A computer check revealed Sudler was wanted by several Delaware courts, although they did not mention what his alleged previous offenses were. Sudler was charged with four counts of first-degree rape and continuous sexual abuse of a child. He was arraigned and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institute in lieu of $230,000 cash-only bond.
